Black Lives Matter Protests -- Summer 2020: During the summer of 2020, Black Lives Matter protests swept the country. I covered many of the protests in DC including the June 6 incident at St. Johns Chapel where I was injured in the thigh with a flash grenade. These protests marked a significant moment when cries for change were heard throughout the nation.
